A three hour long CREATIVE REALISM masterclass dives into creative strategies to realistically woodburn any subject matter. Court makes realism accessible and simple with her 4 universal step approach. This class is great for both beginners and experienced artists looking to learn new tips and tricks on woodburning realistic artwork. Court walks you through an entire pet portrait woodburning from start to finish, including how to trace a realistic image and she demonstrates the completed artwork applied with two different wood finishes. Court gives talks about tips for woodburning dark fur and light fur along with how to approach woodburning people portraits. During Q&A Court provides insight into pricing artwork and her journey as a pyrography artist.

This Masterclass was part of the The Wood Burn Sessions hosted by Wood Burn Corner. It was an online event featuring 6 pyrography artists wood burning live from February 6th - 12th, 2023. During the class, Court is interviewed by Rachel Strauss of Wood Burn Corner and she answers questions from the live audience throughout her class while teaching.
